What Is Crisis to Career™ at Addiction Recovery Care?

At Addiction Recovery Care (ARC), we believe recovery is more than just breaking free from addiction — it’s about rebuilding a life full of purpose and opportunity. That’s why we created Crisis to Career™, a transformational model of care that doesn’t stop at sobriety — it leads all the way to sustainable employment and thriving, purpose-driven living.

More Than Recovery: A Pathway to a New Life

So many individuals come to ARC in the middle of a crisis. They are battling substance use, often without hope, stability, or direction. We know recovery doesn’t end when treatment ends. The real transformation happens when someone not only overcomes addiction but discovers their value, their calling, and their ability to contribute to the world around them! We call this discovering their God-given destiny!

Crisis to Career™ is designed to guide clients through each stage of their journey—from the moment they walk through our doors to the day they enter a new job, a new purpose, and a new life.

How It Works: The Four Phases of Crisis to Career™

ARC’s holistic model of care unfolds in four integrated phases:

1. Crisis Stabilization

This is where recovery begins! In phase one, clients receive medical, clinical, and spiritual support to help them stabilize physically and emotionally. This phase focuses on detox, safety, and beginning to address underlying trauma and addiction-related issues. The ARC team also develops a personalized recovery plan for each client.

2. Clinical Treatment

In phase two, clients transition into a more structured program that includes individual and group therapy, case management, and 12-step or faith-based recovery models. This is where the real internal work of recovery happens, with professional guidance and compassionate care.

3. Life Skills & Reentry

In phase three, we begin to introduce practical tools to clients for life outside of treatment. This includes budgeting, communication, parenting classes, relationship skills, and reentry support to prepare for the transition back into the community.

4. Career Development & Vocational Training

In this final phase, clients are given the opportunity to prepare for long-term success through internship opportunities that include both educational and job training components. For clients who need a GED, completing their education becomes a key part of the process. They may enroll at The Millard College or another accredited institution of their choice. From educational certificate programs to hands-on training in various fields, clients can explore multiple career paths that align with their goals and interests — setting the foundation for a fulfilling, sustainable future beyond recovery.

A Model That Works

The Crisis to Career™ approach is rooted in evidence-based treatment, faith, and a belief in second chances. We’ve seen firsthand how purpose and employment can be powerful, protective factors in long-term recovery. When someone finds meaningful work, it builds confidence, accountability, and long-term stability. These are vital components in staying sober and thriving.

At ARC, we don’t just treat addiction. We walk with clients as they discover their God-given purpose, step into their calling, and contribute to their families, workplaces, and communities in meaningful ways.

Hope for the Future

Crisis to Career™ is more than a tagline — it’s a promise! Your story doesn’t have to end in crisis. With the proper care, support, and opportunity, you can rise. You can recover. You can find purpose, and you can build a life you’re proud of!

At ARC, we believe that transformation is possible, and we’re here to walk with you every step of the way.
